Visitor Information Centre

The innovative “You’ll never do it in a day!” tracks Bradford’s fascinating history and major achievements through a six-metre time-line. You will absorb its history through 19th century photographs, short films and marvel at an early Victorian Jacquard Engine.

Children will be entertained by interactive sound bites, a giant jigsaw puzzle, video games and an opportunity to try their hand at design use futuristic weapons in a virtual Cartwright Hall.

Naturally the main aim of the centre is to ensure that visitors have a wonderful experience. The VIC can provide help on wayfinding, accommodation, attractions, activities , theatre tickets, guided walks, event information and where to eat.
